India's soyoil imports jumped to 349,436 tons in July, its highest since August 2001 and compared to 306,068 tons for the same period a year ago.
Soybean sowing stood at 9.56 million hectare versus 1.95 million hectare a year ago as Madhya Pradesh the largest producing state got timely rains.
